About the art project:
A Castle in England is an Arts Council England supported literature project collaboration between writer Jamie Rhodes(Dead Men’s Teeth, 2014) and the National Trust. Jamie will spend three months as Writer in Residence at the National Trust’s Scotney Castle in Kent, working with the castle archivists to find unusual archive material around which to create 5 short graphic fiction scripts. The scripts will be illustrated by experienced comic and graphic novel artists Becky Palmer, Isabel Greenberg, Briony May Smith, William Exley, and Isaac Lenkiewic, and be published by Nobrow Press in early 2017.
